How It Works

Words Per Minute (WPM) measures typing speed using the standard word length of 5 characters:

WPM = (Characters Typed / 5) / Minutes Elapsed

Accuracy is calculated as the percentage of correctly typed characters:

Accuracy = (Correct Characters / Total Characters Typed) × 100
